Invite the bot to your server
ActionUse the 'Add to Server' button on the PhishFence website. You'll need the Manage Server permission on the target server.
Make sure the bot has the right permissions
ImportantPhishFence needs permission to read messages, delete messages, and take moderation actions (kick/ban/timeout) in the channels you want it to protect. Without these, detections will fire but actions won't apply.
/setup is available but only works correctly once permissions are already configured. Use the dashboard instead.
Protection starts immediately
InfoAs soon as the bot is in your server with the right permissions, it begins scanning messages in real time. No further steps are needed to get basic protection running.
Configure everything from the dashboard
ActionLog into the PhishFence dashboard to set your alert log channel, adjust per-threat-type actions (ban, kick, timeout, delete-only, or auto-escalate), and manage all server settings. The dashboard is the recommended way to configure the bot.
